About This Experience
Arunachal Pradesh, known as the "Land of the Dawn-Lit Mountains," features high-altitude landscapes, tribal culture, and ancient history. Visiting requires navigating entry requirements such as an Inner Line Permit (ILP) for Indian citizens and a Protected Area Permit (PAP) for foreign nationals. The Monastery Circuit includes Tawang Monastery, Sela Pass, Madhuri Lake, Bomdila, and Dirang. The Cultural Valley route covers Ziro Valley, the Apatani tribe, Ziro Music Festival, Itanagar, Ita Fort, and the state museum. The Nature & Wildlife Circuit includes Namdapha National Park, Pasighat, and Mechuka. Special Protected Area Permit will be arranged with provided documents.

Detailed Itinerary
Delhi – Guwahati – Tezpur
Fly from Delhi to Guwahati. Meet our representative and head to Tezpur (approx. 4–5 hours). Rest and prepare for the mountains.
Tezpur – Itanagar
Drive to the capital of Arunachal (approx. 4 hours). Obtain/verify Inner Line Permits (ILP). Visit the Ita Fort and the Jawaharlal Nehru State Museum to get an overview of the state's diverse tribal cultures.
Itanagar – Nyishi Tribal Village – Ziro
Drive toward the Ziro Valley (approx. 5–6 hours). En route, visit Nyishi villages. The Nyishi are the largest tribe in the state, known for their traditional longhouses built on stilts. Arrive in Ziro by evening.
Ziro (Apatani Tribal Villages)
Visit Hong, Hari and Bulla villages. Meet elder Apatani women known for their distinctive facial tattoos and nose plugs. Explore the unique 'fish-cum-paddy' cultivation system.
Ziro – Pange or Talle Valley Excursion
Light trek or visit bamboo groves and fish-cum-paddy culture. Evening homestay experience with Apatani dinner and apong (rice beer).
Ziro – Daporijo via Hill Miri Villages
Long scenic drive (approx. 7–8 hours). Stop at Hill Miri villages like Raga and Tamen. The Hill Miri (Nyishi sub-group) are known for their Boori Boot festival.
Daporijo (Tagin Tribal Villages)
Visit Dumporijo and Baririjo. Focus on the Tagin tribe, known for their Si-Donyi festival traditions and animistic beliefs.
Daporijo – Aalo (Along)
Drive to Aalo (approx. 6–7 hours). You are now entering the West Siang district. Overnight.
Aalo (Galo Tribal Villages)
Spend the day visiting Galo villages like Kabu and Darka (one of the largest villages in the region).
Aalo – Pasighat (via Adi Minyong Villages)
Drive toward the oldest town in the state, Pasighat (approx. 4–5 hours). Stop at the confluence of the Siang and Siyom rivers. Visit Adi Minyong villages en route.
Pasighat (Adi Tribal Villages)
Explore the villages of the Pasi and Padam sub-tribes of the Adi.
Pasighat – Day Excursion to Pangin
Visit Pangin, where the blue Siyom meets the green Siang. Engage with the local craftsmen who specialize in cane hats and baskets.
Pasighat – Dibrugarh
Cross the mighty Brahmaputra River via the Bogibeel Bridge. Arrive in Dibrugarh, the "Tea City of India."
Dibrugarh (Tea Gardens & Relaxation)
Enjoy a quiet day walking through tea estates. Reflect on the tribal journey with a traditional Assamese meal.
Dibrugarh – Delhi
Transfer to Dibrugarh Airport / Mohanbari for return flight to Delhi.
