About This Experience
Bihar offers many tourist spots, including Bodh Gaya, the top Buddhist site with the Mahabodhi Temple. Nalanda has ancient university ruins, while Rajgir is sacred to Buddhism and Jainism. Patna is one of the oldest cities, featuring historical sites. Vaishali is the birthplace of Lord Mahavir, and Kesaria has the largest stupa. Pawapuri is a Jain sacred site, and Gaya is a major Hindu pilgrimage center. Natural attractions include Valmiki National Park. Other notable places are Madhubani for paintings and Sasaram for historical sites.
