Caves & Artisans

Dhenkanal - Satakoshia
Drive to Satajoshia. Evening boating in river Mahanadi. Overnight
Satajoshia to Baliguda
Proceed to Baliguda enroute visiting few typical village. Overnight at Baliguda.
Baliguda - Rayagada
Morning Visit few kutia Kondh Tribal Villages and later drive to Rayagada. Overnight
Rayagada - Lanjia Saura Village
Drive to Rayagada. Visit the Lanjia Saura villages, known for their "Idital" wall paintings (similar to Warli art). Overnight at Rayagada.
Chatikona Market (Wednesday)
Visit the Chatikona Weekly Market, where the Dongria Kondh tribe descends from the Niyamgiri hills to trade. Proceed to Jeypore enroute visiting few tribal village. Overnight.
Onukadelli Market (Thursday)
Witness the most famous tribal market at Onukadelli, frequented by the Bonda tribe (one of India's most primitive tribes). Also enjoy Duduma Waterfall. Also visit few Gadaba Tribal village. Overnight
Kunduli Market (Friday)
Visit the Kunduli Weekly Market, the largest in the region, showcasing the vibrant colors of the Paraja and Mali tribes.
Gupteswar Caves & Dhuruba Tribes Village
Visit the cave shrine of Gupteswar. Also visit few Dhuruba Tribes village. Afternoon visit Tribal Market on Saturday. Back to Jeypore. Overnight.
Jeypore to Sambalpur
A long drive north to Sambalpur, the heart of Western Odisha culture.
Sambalpuri Ikat
Visit Sonepur or Bargarh, the epicenter of Sambalpuri handlooms.
Sambalpur to Keonjhar
Morning Visit few textile village and later Proceed to Keonjhar enroute stop at Devgarh. Overnight.
